Miami Heat deliver real-time services on Juniper infrastructure

Thanks to Juniper, the Miami Heat basketball team is planning to usher in a new era of customer service in their arena. Tony Coba, CIO of the Heat, told a crowd at this year's Gartner Symposium about a planned $4.5 million distributed antennae system to compliment the Juniper-based infrastructure inside American Airlines. The antennae will give attendees better cell reception and cellular off-load capabilities and even enable in-seat services, such as selling merchandise and food via mobile devices, and future potential services such as receiving replays and offering one-on-one interaction with players and coaches. Check out the video to get an idea of how enterprises are beginning to use Juniper products to support amenities like these. This is the second in a series of upcoming videos from this year's Gartner Symposium showcasing how Juniper enables enterprises to drive real business results for its customers.
